Adjuvant treatment after thyroid cancer surgery: Used to suppress thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) as an adjuvant to surgery and radioactive iodine therapy.

Usage Restrictions

Suppression of benign thyroid nodules or non-toxic diffuse goiter in patients with adequate iodine intake.

Transient hypothyroidism occurring during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis.

Important Safety Warnings

This medication is strictly prohibited for weight loss or the treatment of obesity.

Overdosage may cause severe or even life-threatening toxic reactions, especially when combined with certain sympathomimetic drugs that suppress appetite.

This product is an uncoated tablet, off-white in color, round with flat sides and beveled edges, and scored on both sides for easy breaking.

Eleven specifications: 25mcg, 50mcg, 75mcg, 88mcg, 100mcg, 112mcg, 125mcg, 137mcg, 150mcg, 175mcg, 200mcg.

Tablet Markings

Each tablet is engraved with "EM" and the corresponding strength value (e.g., "25," "50," etc.), facilitating patients to verify the dosage and avoid incorrect administration.

Packaging Specifications

Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets are available in two common packaging options: 30-tablet packs (2 aluminum-plastic blister strips) and 90-tablet packs (6 aluminum-plastic blister strips).

Each blister strip contains 15 individually sealed tablets to ensure stability before use.

Storage Methods for Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets (Euthyrox)

Storage Conditions

Temperature requirement: Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F); short-term fluctuations between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F) are allowed.

Protection from light and moisture: Direct sunlight and humid environments must be avoided. Therefore, it is recommended to keep the tablets in the original packaging and not remove them from the blister in advance.

Usage Precautions

Remove the tablet from the blister only immediately before each dose and take it promptly.

Do not repackage the tablets into other containers to prevent moisture absorption or contamination.

Do not use if the tablet color changes, the tablet is damaged, or the blister seal is compromised.
