Potential Side Effects

The most frequently reported adverse reactions (>2%) include diarrhea, weight decrease, nausea, headache, back pain, influenza, insomnia, dizziness, and decreased appetite. Beyond these common effects, DALIRESP carries warnings for more serious side effects. These include psychiatric events such as insomnia, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation or behavior. Significant, unintentional weight loss is another serious adverse reaction that requires regular monitoring. Patients should be advised to report any new or worsening mood changes or unexplained weight loss to their healthcare provider promptly.
