It is used to improve dysuria associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and is classified as a symptomatic treatment drug. Since silodosin is not an etiological treatment drug, if the therapeutic effect is poor, other treatment measures such as surgical treatment should be considered.

Under normal circumstances, for adults, the dosage is calculated based on silodosin: 4 mg each time, twice a day, to be taken orally after breakfast and dinner. The dosage may be appropriately reduced according to symptoms; when reducing the dosage, administration can be considered starting from 2 mg each time.
